Yo La Tengo were the surprise musical guest at the penultimate Invite Them Up, the culty alternative comedy show hosted by Bobby Tisdale and Eugene Mirman. They played a custom set including covers of Come On Up by The Rascals (with modified lyrics to quote the show's name) and Bobby's Girl by Lesley Gore (in which they added a chorus about wanting to be "Eugene's Girl.") The short set also consisted of Mr. Tough and Big Day Coming. Comedian Todd Barry, a frequent performer on Invite Them Up and regular opener for YLT, played drums.
