After the aforementioned Oneida show in Brooklyn, I headed uptown to St. John's the Divine for the all-night Indian Classical Music concert.
Chai and samosas in the basement. Sitar and tabla in the cathedral.

Oneida is quickly becoming one of my favorite bands to see live. They approach psychadelic rock with a ferocious intensity (propelled in large part by Kid Millions able attack of his drum kit) and experimental creativity that gets things just about right to these ears.
